What is CBD?
CBD is one of many cannabinoids, or molecules, produced uniquely by the cannabis family. Unlike THC, the primary psychoactive element in cannabis, CBD is non-intoxicating, meaning that while it does work on the mind, it doesn’t cause the “high” associated with cannabis use.
What is CBN?
CBN is one of many "minor" cannabinoids in the cannabis family, existing right alongside CBD. It is often consumed due to its enhancing qualities of sedation and relaxation. While CBD can achieve this, CBN can produce these pronounced effects. To learn more, click here.
What is "full spectrum" CBD?
Not all CBD that you see as an ingredient is the same. We are committed to using Full Spectrum CBD, where not only CBD itself is present, but also a variety of other wonderful minor cannabinoids, along with trace amounts of THC. Unlike other options that might only have isolated CBD and absolutely no THC, full spectrum oil is closer to the original plant and thus closer to the organic matter that the earth has given us. All of those minor cannabinoids have shown to aid in the absorption of the CBD itself, and provide a more effective, overall experience.
Will this product make me high?
CBD is non-psychoactive, however in large doses some individuals can feel certain sensations that might feel akin to sleepiness or euphoria. Go slow at first! Please note that trace amounts of THC are present in our products, but not at a volume that would create feelings of intoxication.
How much CBD should I take?
Cannabinoids interact with everyone differently. We suggest starting with 5-10mg of CBD to test the waters first. After an hour, additional doses can be added. Keeping track of your experiences and sensations over time is helpful in understanding how CBD works for your life, as well as keeping in mind that different methods of consumption (i.e. gummies, chocolate or tinctures) can provide different onset times and sensations.
Where are your products made?
We make all of our products in-house in Portland, Oregon, sourcing our ingredients as locally and conscientiously as possible.
Are your products lab tested?
Yes. We test our products at a local, Oregon lab for potency accuracy. The oil we source comes pre-tested for a stringent array of pesticides, herbicides, residual solvents, heavy metals and more, and must pass these tests for us to use it. Visit our Lab Results page to review results.
Will I test positive on a drug test after consuming Greater Goods products? As with all hemp products that contain even trace amount of THC, there is a chance that consumption could trigger a positive drug test. Consult your doctor and/or employer if this is a concern.
Are there any allergens in your products?
There may be trace amounts of of milk, coconut, hazelnuts and almonds due the nature of our sourcing, in which some of those products may be made in a facility that handles wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts. Any allergens that we use directly in our products are listed on the ingredients both online and on the packaging.
